PnL & Cash Flow
Drop me into any sector and I’ll surface profit fast.
I’ve owned and scaled ventures in food service, fintech, SaaS, and consulting, and have jumped in as an operator for clients in beauty, healthcare, and junk-removal.
Software Product Launch
I led a year-long rebuild of a regulated investment platform, guiding designers, front-end and back-end engineers from the first sketch to the on-stage launch event.
Over twelve months we redesigned every screen, built a token-driven design system with 120+ components, integrated biometric ID checks, live market feeds, and payment rails, and delivered a lightning-fast universal app that runs on web, iOS, and Android.
I owned the product vision, ran weekly user tests, managed dev hand-offs, and kept every pixel on spec. The result is a crisp, accessible interface that feels premium to pros yet effortless for first-time investors.
B2B Sales & Fulfillment
Before: A B2C pizza operation. School orders were sporadic, often placed manually. Volunteers at schools labeled and distributed boxes by hand. Orders were often inaccurate, and food quality suffered by the time it was delivered.
After: I created a new business unit focused on school lunches.
Partnered directly with local elementary schools and the school district to demo our offering and pitch the operational solution, not just the food.
Created custom-sized boxes and an automation pipeline that generated hundreds of labeled boxes per order, each one labeled with the student’s name and class, so teachers and volunteers didn’t have to sort anything.
Reengineered our kitchen processes to allow high-volume production of student meals while preserving quality, freshness, and warmth.
Built systems to track class groupings, dietary restrictions, and delivery timing using a mix of logistics tools and automation layers.
Result: Scaled this program to deliver hundreds of meals per day, error-free and hot, while creating a repeatable revenue stream from previously untapped B2B relationships.
Retail Operations & Store Planning
I lead end-to-end retail launches: redraw floorplans, oversee fixture installs, sync POS and inventory systems, and stage grand-opening events with local marketing, guest registration, and live product demos.
I’ve delivered 20,000 sq ft store overhauls across Vancouver: relocated departments, refreshed branding, rolled out new assortments, negotiated with vendors, and kept registers running through months-long remodels.
For inventory audits, I mobilize 20-person teams, map count plans aisle by aisle, pre-count high-velocity items, track variances in DNIs, and lock down sections to hit 100 % accuracy with minimal shopper disruption.
Leading Teams
Chaos Management
I walk into swirling startups—no schedules, no defined owners, deadlines on fire—and immediately map “what’s so.”
By inventorying every dependency and blocker, I create a single source of truth and then co-author a shared future the team can see and act on.
The result is calm focus: shouting turns into clear priorities, and chaos collapses into an executable plan.
When the roadmap is blank, I build one from first principles: deep listening to founders, teammates, and customers uncovers the real needs, and I translate those insights into an iterative path forward.
Even if no one else can articulate “what’s next,” I distill the noise into direction and keep momentum while the broader vision crystallizes.
People Management & Team Leadership
I’ve led teams of 30+ people: set up status dashboards, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to keep every project on track.
I developed playbooks and tooling: templates, checklists, automated reminders, for repeatable project success.
I mentored and coached teams continuously: ran management workshops, performance reviews, promotion tracks, and development plans.
Talent Acquisition & HR Strategy
I’ve interviewed, hired, and onboarded over 1,000 employees, from interns to executives, at every company I’ve worked for.
I designed recruitment processes: job specs, sourcing strategies, interview frameworks, and culture-fit assessments covering both hard skills and soft qualities.
I built comprehensive onboarding programs: training curricula, mentorship pairings, policy handbooks (from anti-bullying to core values), and culture immersion experiences.
Culture & Employee Experience
I spearheaded culture-building with quarterly retreats, hackathons, and peer-recognition programs; I launched pulse surveys to keep values alive as we scaled.
I authored 20+ HR initiatives: diversity & inclusion guidelines, wellness stipends, remote-work policies, flexible schedules, and conflict-resolution protocols.
GTM Strategy for Tech Sales
Before: Schools called us only for pencils, paper, and art supplies. We had no credibility as a technology vendor, no process for quoting devices, and no support structure once a laptop left the box.
Seeing the gap: I recognized that Chromebooks could slot naturally into our existing supply chain. If we could make buying tech feel as easy as ordering copy paper, we could own the ed-tech space.
Built internal systems that bundle Chromebooks, accessories, and extended warranties into the same purchasing workflows schools already know.
Trained every sales rep to talk confidently about Google devices, setup steps, and classroom integration.
Ran in-person demo nights for teachers and parents across the city, earning trust and answering questions live.
Wrote step-by-step support guides, launched a post-sale help desk, and set up recurring assistance programs tied to the academic calendar.
After: We became the city’s number-one seller of Google education devices, accessories, and warranties. Annual, calendar-aligned purchase cycles now drive predictable revenue and long-term partnerships with every school we serve.
Ops & Systems
IT Infrastructure & Systems Administration
I’ve built Microsoft 365 tenants from the ground up: domain setup, DNS records, and licensing management, and onboarded dozens of users without a hitch.
I’m deeply familiar with Microsoft 365 licensing structures and have handled hardware provisioning from end-user laptops to Microsoft-certified video conferencing systems.
I developed complex Outlook setups: mail routing, advanced rules, shared mailboxes, and device management via Intune.
I automated key processes with PowerApps and Power Automate, and spun up Azure apps with fine-tuned access controls for secure, scalable operations.
Security, Compliance & Governance
I designed and enforced governance policies (security, retention, compliance) across multi-tenant environments.
I customized Microsoft Teams (including Premium features) and architected SharePoint sites with deep libraries and metadata for policies and customer files.
I deployed Google Workspace orgs end-to-end: user provisioning, domain verification, and granular IAM roles.
Information Architecture & Knowledge Management
I built detailed file systems in Google Drive and Sites, including folder hierarchies, permission structures, and page templates tailored for policies and customer assets.
I engineered deep SharePoint document libraries: nested site collections, metadata taxonomies, and unique permissions for every team and record type.
I created self-service portals ensuring employees find policies, SOPs, and customer contracts in three clicks.
I designed dynamic content hubs in Google Sites with version control and embedded request forms for ongoing updates and controlled access.
PnL & Cash Flow
I’ve migrated multiple startups from Excel-level bookkeeping to full-stack accounting platforms, architecting the P&L structure along the way. I built standardized templates that auto-generate in the software and push monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to leadership via Microsoft Teams.
Working with external accountants and bookkeepers, I’ve also audited these statements to catch mis-categorizations and surface cost-cutting opportunities.
